Bach & Sons
Members of the OBF Baroque Orchestra bring you chamber music from the era’s foremost family of composers. The special matinee performance is comprised of works from J.S. Bach and four of his astute and talented sons, including the trio sonata from BWV 1079, “The Musical Offering.” Originally a composition challenge to Bach from the King of Prussia, it is now considered one of the finest pieces of chamber music from the Baroque era.

Chorus & Orchestra
The OBF Chorus is made up of professional singers from all over the United States. Chorus members are compensated for their work during the Festival and receive room and board during their stay.
Many new members are found through a recorded audition process. Auditions are judged against the standard of the chorus and those deemed of the quality required are added to the list of potential singers for future openings. While we accept auditions on a continuing basis, auditions are evaluated annually in December and January. For full consideration, potential chorus members should submit their materials in November and December each year. Existing chorus members are re-invited annually based on their most recent live auditions and on the repertory programmed.
